AWI's Office of Civil Rights is responsible for ensuring nondiscrimination and equal opportunity in employment, programs or services that receive federal financial assistance through the Agency for Workforce Innovation and to ensure nondiscrimination and equal opportunity in employment, programs or services within the Agency for Workforce Innovation.

The Office of the Inspector General detects and investigates fraud, management abuse or misconduct in any Agency for Workforce Innovation program or services.
•Unemployment Compensation
Through the unemployment insurance program, AWI provides temporary wage replacement benefits to those who have lost their job through no fault of their own.
